looks like all your other stuff. He looks so uncomfortable, I would change his pose. It makes me uncorfortable looking at him sitting like that. Otherwise good job.
I don't think that it looks like all of his other stuff...if you look at his website, it is obvious that his style is versatile and full of variety. Anyway, I love this piece! Keep up the good work.
This is a really awesome piece caleb, your pictures are very intresting. oh yeah i think anonymous is right, this picture would be so much better if Poe, the psychotic master of horror stories was looking a little bit more comfortable in a fluffy arm chair. Im being sarcastic by the way.Its great.

Thanks for the crits and comments- I drew Poe to look uncomfortable and uneasy on purpose- In this image he is in the middle of writing "The Raven" when a Raven lands on his side table- kindv'e creepy. So, if this image and Poe's posture/pose makes you feel uncomfortable then I've suceeded in my illustration.
Yeah whatever. "You chose to draw it that way." Funny how you only mentioned that AFTER people pointed that out. And just how many times did you have to draw that hand??!!

Oh yeah. Caleb, I think you could use some contrast between your values on Poe. It is a bit "middle gray".
