RANDOM POST

I know this is different for me. It is actually a card that I made for my aunt Karen right before she died a couple of months ago. These are her dogs Heidi and Kirby. I am also thinking about haviing one aspect of my freelance work be dog portraits. I figure that there is a demand for stuff like this.

I'm really glad you posted this, good to see that you are thinking on your feet. If you really are interested in doing dog portraits I might know someone that would be interested in commisioning a piece from you.
Very thoughtful T-Flo. It IS different, but just as good as anything you've done in your sketchbook!
very thoughtful indeed. and you can certainly get rich doing dog portraits. i'm just not sure if you'd enjoy them? what i thought was hilarious is that i recognized this painting as yours just by looking at their noses. you paint the best noses (in people AND animals :)
i'll commission you to paint my nose some day ...
There is definitely a market out there for capturing "beloved" pets and you seem to have the talent!
Ted this looks great. Just a friendly reminder. Some people don't want to pay lots of money for art. If I were you I would find a price that after doing a dog portait will satisfy you. You are an awesome artist I don't think you should be ecognized as a pet portait specialist. cool man be good.
don't worry alex, I probably wouldn't advertise this at all except for locally. I wouldn't want that either.
I know this guy in MA who rides his motorcycle with his pug, emily. She has goggles and a leather jacket- might make a cool picture, I'll see if i can find a photo
Hey, there is nothing wrong with illustrating pets. It is an honest way to make a little extra cash, and he is using his art talent. I say way to go, Ed, in using your talent to bless real people whether or not it is just a few extra jobs on the side. :) Man, I know a person right now that would hire you.
Thanks. Anyone that wants one, I am willing. Just give me the details.
