***I made the chair rail smaller...My parents got me a wacom tablet for my birthday! It just came today so I got to play with it a little, its kinda sloppy but i have more important things to do like draw with a real pencil :-)***
This is a portrait of Hugh Jackman that I started about oh a month ago...I finally finished it yesterday. It was another one of those projects that was sitting on my desk haunting me while a bunch of other stuff prevented me from working on it. But now its DONE so I can put it away and dont have to look at it anymore! Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well.

his hand is freakin huge
great job hun----i really like the colors you used and how the focus is completely on his face while the rest is all SHAPE!!! ;) so proud of my fields!

i think this one has some proportion problems. his head is a little small in comparison to everything else (like the chair rail- it's a little wide for being in the background). and the plant is a little distracting (but it kinda goes with his latest movie the fountain - if you see it you'll know what i mean)
ha oh well...i tried. Hugh Jackman plays Wolverine in X-men which is how he is best known so far. the plant creates lines shooting out of his hand like his character in that movie. I dont think his head is too small. but maybe i will make that char rail smaller if i ever get around to it.

have u seen teh cover of oklahoma? he's in it and this reminds me alot of that. i thought those lines shooting out of his knuckles meant something, i didint know whether you did that on purpose or not. but the likeness is really well done.
Lisa i think you pulled him off very well and your flesh tones are great.
his hand is big, but its a nice finish. I'm not sure if the concept works, but oh well.... it is a good painting. SISTAAAAA
youve paid WAY more attention to his face than anything else...the rest of him is like an afterthought. but thats actrually good...you focus more on his face than anything else. nice job!
